Title: September Club Meeting 9/10
Post by: sirjames186 on August 28, 2017, 08:39:41 AM
You asked for it, you got it!

September's Club Meeting will be at The Farm Brewery at Broad Run near Haymarket.  We're gonna hold down the outside pavilion and hope Jeremy keeps it family friendly. Please note food options will be limited at this location, as they have rotating food trucks on the weekends and outside food and beverages are NOT permitted.

See y'all at 1pm on September 10th!

I just noticed its not on the calendar. Is that part of the site a usable  "one stop shop" for things going on in the jeep community? just curious as I didn't even notice a meeting last month and I've been looking at the calendar for updates.

 :cheers

Thanks for pointing that out! We didn't have a meeting in August so you didn't miss anything there, but ill check into getting that updated.

I noticed on the website the food truck is scheduled 3pm-9pm, other food options are their "grab and go cooler"
You think you could get them to bring the truck earlier?

Meetings are the second Sunday of every "odd" month (Sept, Nov, Jan, March, May, July).

I believe they have some TVs in the tasting room and I'll be checking that out once the meeting is done.

Been there a few times. Beer is great, food is pretty good. It's pretty large brewery setup. Parking is however limited. So I suggest showing up the earlier the better. Can't recall if they had cable and tv's setup or not.

Wish I could go. Had me a little accident last weekend (luckily not involving the Jeep). Got me a concussion, a little brain bleeding, broken shoulder, broken jaw and lots of road rash. Looks like I won't be able to drive the Jeep for at least a few weeks.

Dang. That was on a skateboard?  Glad I never had that bad of a spill back in the day. Gave it up in the late 80s.

That is hilarious. I got on my son's board a few years ago and my wife read me the riot act.

That is the truth. I sometimes forget that I am not still on my 20s, but a couple drinks, a skateboard, and a big hill will remind you quickly....

I'll be there, probably without the shop jeep but I'll bring my own personal wheeling rig! Hope that still counts. Look forward to meeting some of you and putting faces to screen names.

Well, I got to show up for 7 minutes. Work called, emergency and I had to go. Quite the bummer, I'm super new and wanted to hang. I'll catch you all next time!
