Title: Anyone have a coolant air bleeding tool?
Post by: latemp on November 08, 2018, 01:10:45 PM
I'm hoping to find someone who has a coolant air bleeding tool and can help me bleed my coolant system. I have a 2014 JKU and had to replace my leaky engine oil cooler. I bled what I could with the Jeep on an incline but I can tell there is still air in the system.

Can’t you rent these for “free” from Autozone? Most should come with a relief value that should help

the one I know of needs compressed air. I don't have an air compressor.

I know you can buy them with a hand-pump; those come with a relief valve too.  I don't have one but I think that's what you're looking for.

Find a parking garage and use that incline.  Or just drive it on the highway, it'll burp it.

The only time I've had to use the special air compressor system is when one of my cars had a horizontal radiator.

This.  My driveway has a steep incline, and I put it on ramps.  What didn't come out, came out over the next day driving too and from work.
