Always thought of limb raisers as overkill / for people with new Jeeps who wanted to protect their paint... until I came home from Potts with a few new windshield cracks thatíll cost me money if I want to pass Va inspection next month. Went ahead and added hood struts so that the hood will stop collapsing every time I bump the prop bar.

It is. Very clever design by redline tuning but at $99 itís a bit overpriced. I just swallowed the cost by burying it in a much larger purchase. Whatís another $ 99 when you are already neck deep in paying for a steering system upgrade ? Lol - bad JEEP $ reasoning I know

Got back from Boise and took the Scrambler in for reinspection. This guy laughed to find out I failed for the torn shifter boot. Saying the Jeeps have drain holes, so that makes no sense. I agreed, but said, whatever. It needed to be replaced anyway.

PSC steering system installed. Itís getting crowded under that hood! Had to relocate the evap solinoid in order to shoe horn the PSC reservoir into the space between the dual batteries and the high flow pump.

On Saturday I had to have one of these removed from my bumper.  She dented my gas tank skid so it needs to be replaced along with damaging the left upper control arm mount.  There's a little paint scuffing on the bumper.  We were going about 75 mph when traffic stopped hard and she didn't.  I spun around in a complete 360, when from the left land to the right lane and back to the left shoulder facing the correct way.  Not other cars were hit.  I thought for sure I was going to flip and/or hit other cars.  I dropped it off and OCD to have Scott fix it yesterday.  Hopefully I'll get it back before I go to the beach in 2 weeks.

Yes, everyone is OK.  She missed her best friends wedding though.  I felt bad for her.  Traffic stopped real hard and real fast, she made an honest mistake and was charged for it.  I stood on the brakes and was probably slowed to around 40mph but we think she hit me at still close to 70-75mph.  Cars in front of us were heading to the shoulders also to miss each other.  I thought the 18-wheeler just to the right behind me was going to get me.  I could hear his brakes chattering louder than my own tires - it was a horrendous sound!  I held mine locked down so I would slide and not get traction and maybe flip.

Frank that is a hilariously small amount of damage to your Jeep.  Funny how despite all the lack of insulation, rattling interior panels and cheap plastic bits, steel bumpers are all it really takes to hold up to a front or rear collision.  Glad you all are alright!  Those I-95 fender-bender collisions can be nasty.

Changed the oil in the JKU.  Removed the Evo Mfg. Oil pan skid since one of the tabs to mount the the trans skid was broken. I'll be looking for a more conventional skid plate system now. Also, installed the Fumoto drain valve I've had in the toolbox for years. Works great, just couldn't use it with the Evo skids.
Then hooked up the trailer and got a new pellet grill/smoker since the old one rusted out.

Added some coolant since I was running hot in traffic on Thursday. Then I checked other fluids and noticed that my shock tower mount on the driver side was loose and about to fall off. So I tightened that down.

Why are you losing coolant?? You might want to consider Redline's Waterwetter.  It will help keep temps in line even on the hottest days.

I donít know why I lost coolant. Yet. I need to see if I have a leaking hose. I recently replaced an upper hose, so it may not be tight enough.

Cleaned out the interior. Jammed up the dyson twice from all the crap my kids had in there.

No chips, popcorn, fries or nut shells left in the Jeep to tempt Yogi to come check it and the people sleeping inside of it out.

Once again my Bartact sear covers are one of my favorite mods. So easy to clean.

Drove it! Jeep made the full 300 mile, 6 hour trip down to Corolla with absolutely zero issues apart from some A/C condensation leakage in the passenger footwell. No explosions or fires, gauges clean throughout the trip, and achieved an impressive 19-20 MPG with consistent speeds of 55-70 the whole way.

Glad it did great for you!  Good mileage too.  Also make sure the rubber elbow is on the HVAC box drain outlet on the engine side of the firewall.  I think a piece of 1/2" hose angled downward can go over it too with a hose clamp (what I did).  If its not there, the water wicks back thru the firewall at the outlet and goes to the floor or passenger feet and toes.

Yeah, I didnít hit any rain on the way downóitís A/C condensation. Should be able to take care of that this week.

Just to be clear - to maybe help others - when I refer to the water wicking, the condensate dribbles out of the box from the horizontal outlet outside the firewall.  If the regular OEM rubber elbow is not there (they rot and fall off or get bumped off) the condensate has a habit of wicking back along the pipe and gets back into the cab and drips on the floor or the feet.

Got the driveshafts (front original, new Adams rear CV) and the new Barns4WD skid plate.  Had to do a little modification to the transmission mount, but got the job done.  Still need to set the rear pinion angle and see if I'll need the angled rear trackbar relocation bracket and see if I need to reverse my rear shocks if they run the bottom spring perch.

Installed this Synergy basket in my JK. Their instructions had it mounted low - roughly even with the top of the tub. I wanted to be able to have the dog ride in the back sometimes and use the bed for other things so u custom mounted it up high and set it up to swivel down for access.

Replaced the driver side seat belt in my Scrambler today since it had a tendency to lock up and stay locked. Now it is nice and smooth.

But getting the mount out of the rollbar broke a t-45 bit. I am going to Home Depot to see if they warranty their hand tools. I just got this thing last October.

Got tired of 2-stage tailgate entry and lack of clearance to see well out of the rear so Iím going to try this out for a while.  Pulled the spare tire / carrier off & threw the spare into the back. It fits perfectly under the Synergy basket and if I adjust things right the basket may even hold the spare down tightly enough that I wonít need to do anything else to secure it.

Adjusted the pinion angle after SYE/CV driveshaft install. I didnít have to adjust it much, but I went as far as the trackbar bracket would let me. I have a JKS angled bracket waiting. If I get bad vibes, Iíll throw the bracket on and potentially invert my rear shocks.

In addition, I took the doors off and put the mirrors on.

I feel bad for being a ghost on here since I joined a couple months ago, work has been really busy and I've been saving for the big addition. That addition happened about an hour ago.  My new wheels and tires are done and thank you visa for paying!

Skids, some air device, and a jack then I'm ready to hit some trails hard!(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190529/893d79ebb9396d0de88427bee9cd6bda.jpg)

I'm definitely going to try, but may have to work, which is why I haven't registered yet.  Believe me I am trying though!

I used mine to take me and my tools to FFX to swap a starter and solenoid on the F250, then take the borrowed trailer back to Winchester, where I was greeted with a downpour, requiring me to keep wiping the inside of the windshield. But was rewarded with a wonderful beverage from Chris Cowell.
