To All:
With all 3 groups being lead by TJís, itís recommended to bring overnight supplies.
Burnzy you can sit home if you're scared

I thought it was against club rules for the leads to run off ahead and leave everyone else stranded on the trail.

I will go slow enough for the German and Italian Jeeps to keep up.  If it becomes a problem for my stock open open unskidded 29 shod stick 4cyl TJ to go slow enough I will pull a couple plug wires.  Now I know for sure I better not bring the XJ.

The world is against me.

&%#^@ Jeep wont start.  Turn key, nothing.  Lights and radio work.  Since I am travelling the rest of the week, I will not have time to diagnose and fix prior this run.  I have to assume it is an electrical gremlin.

Give my spot to someone who has a rig that runs . . .

Just had this happen to me at the start of the summer.  Check the starter.

Irene had this after we changed her starter too, Check the ignition switch in the column. If it's confettie it's toast.

You know the ignition switch was not that issue (it needed replacing anyway). I was able to get the starter going by jumping the starter wires bypassing the solenoid. Then put it back and all was good.

Just checking, I see that I am still in group 2 wanted to confirm as the wife does not want to go camping since it is calling for rain. Or do I need to go back on standby?

Edit: I see what you're saying now, no more camping at the cove due to rain.  Yes, it looks like I missed taking you off the list, so you're still good for group 2!

You should be fine, group 2 is going down the tough spots, so you won't get stuck.  No one is going to be spending the night for this trip.  We save that for the winter ride.  If you're not comfortable with it, I can move you off, just let me know.

The mud holes, on the other hand, will be a different story.  Plan on getting dirty, but not stuck

Cool, not worried about getting dirty haha, itís not a Jeep unless you get mud on it.  Laughing

Hi all
I had a spot in group three, but I'm very sorry - I have to back out.

Will try for the next run. (Anyone know when that might be?)

Next stock friendly ride would be the new to jeeping run in the spring.
