I am thinking a throttle body spacer might be my next upgrade...(now that I don't need to buy a new winch - got mine fixed!  Yeah!!!)

Looking at Quadratec I see a wide price range.  Any recmends.   I am in a JK.

Skip em. They don't do anything other than change the sound no real horse power gain

The only thing about a Yj that's reliable is its mechanic.

I went with the cold air intake kit from Rugged Ridge which included their throttle body spacer.
The spacer seems like it needs the extra air cold air to make a difference and sure makes installing the cold air kit a little easier and a cleaner job.
While I do seem to feel more low end power with the combination, it may be all an illusion. I'd like to see some real dynamometer data.
You'd probably see better throttle response and HP gains by just buying a quality tuner and tweaking some of the settings.

In the real world and not in some magazine  there is no real world gain on the stop watch or on an engine dyno over the last 40 years.

Throttle Body Spacers are almost as good a birfoucating(sic)  venturies for exhaust headers.

Dyno test done in most mags are suspect.  Only true test is the stop watch. Peak hp and peak torque numbers are as worthless as Trump's favorability polls done by the NYT and the WP.

Best upgrade for any vehicle is the driver. All the mods in the world with a bottomless bank account and a black Amex won't make any difference if you don't improve the driver.

Hey Dave, point taken. But can we keep the politics out of a throttle body spacer discussion please?  It is appreciated.
