Thinking my ancient Snap-On air gun was loosing strength, I bough a replacement for it this past November while I was swapping axles.  Come to find out, nothing was wrong except for the large bolt I was removing was cross threaded and required a 3 foot breaker bar to remove it all the way off (what a pain).  Anyway, I bought a HF 1/2 in. Composite Xtreme Torque Air Impact Wrench for $129 on sale.  It works great and has plenty of power.  I scuffed it up in the driveway while using so I can't return it.  I still even have the receipt and box.  I'm pretty firm at $75 it anyone is interested.

Good deal. Unfortunately I don't have an air compressor to run it lol.

I have a 6 gallon home type compressor for woodworking tools 150 PSI.  Is that enough to run that wrench effectively?  Jeep Wave

I run a 8 gal-2hp at about 90 psi and it is fine.  The main thing is to make sure your tank is pressured up and the hose diameter is large enough.  Usually with an impact your looking to break things loose first (with the tank full), then use it to remove bolts and nuts after they are loose.  I also run an air cutter and a socket wrench with mine.  So I guess my answer would be it would be OK.  I would even let you try it out if you are interested and nearby.

I am in Lorton right off route 1 before you go into Woodbridge.  Just a few minutes off I-95.
