OK here we go

Spring (13) missing from both sides - not really, they were in the hub as part of 2 or 4 wheel selection, mystery solved.

Spring (6) missing from the passenger side. Not really - parts 1-2-3-4-6-7-8 should be one assembly that we removed by removing the retaining clip (5). So passenger side spring is present and accounted for.

Now for the problem - the driver side retaining clip (8 ) is missing. With it missing the assembly above becomes a bunch of pieces including a wild, bouncing spring. My issue is that the driver side hub shaft (4) is damaged where the missing retaining clip ( 8 ) should be as well as the ring clutch (7). I reassembled everything yesterday and the hub functions. However it has clearly be compromised and needs to be replace... So I am out begging for parts I can not find any information on replacement parts for the older hubs.

That is a short story made long...

Fun time!  At least you got it all back together and figured the spring issue out.  Now if Dain has an extra hub and laying around.....

I have the parts around to repair this. NEVER throw away the housing (14) if it is not busted. They are discontinued and break all the time. The internal guts are more abundant than the housings.
