I have been know for a little advanced planning but... in this case it is warranted.

Why?
I am planning to go to the event and would like to share this with whomever  would like to tag along.

When?
The Event is 15-26 April 2019.  add 3-4 days travel each way

Where
The Easter Jeep Safari is held in Moab Utah each year. Registration start in January  the year of the event.

My Plan,
Drive out starting around the 10/11th and  try to hit the Rimrock trail  to Utah. Rimrock is about 160 miles of trail from CO to UT. 160 Miles could be done in one long day if the trail is not full of  hall closet size rocks.  At time present I will be staying in a hotel or lodge in Moab and wheeling 8 trails with rating from 5-8.  Each trail ride costs about $50.00.  I have some thoughts about hitting Teluride on the way back to do the Black Bear pass and maybe a few other  trails to the top of the divide.  This has the possibilities of being a three week trip. I will be booking a hotel  after this Easter for next year I understand they fill up fast.  Going to do some research on trails  that fit the rating of 5-8. I know I want to run "Top of the world" and try to get a picture on the flat rock overlooking the valley.

More to follow.

If you are serious about coming join in, lets chat.

Cheers

Rob.

Booked  lodging for this event today. Just as I figured  the "best  spot to stay is booked out. the second best  is going fast.
10 days for $1300.00 I think is a steal. hotels are ranging from 150 something to 300 a night for next year.  if you are thinking about it  book a spot to stay now you can always cancel later.

Mornign All,
Just a bump for EJS 2019.

Hotel is booked and waiting the trails sign up to open.  Looking to make this a three week trip to include Rim Rocker trail and maybe some Rocky Mountain fun on the way back  (if the trails are open)

if any of you are interested and driving out, let's coordinate and convoy out.

Cheers
