Where in the sam hell do these jack wagons come up with the prices for used trailers.  Very Mad I can get a new ones for less than most these fools want for beat to hell and back, junk.

New 16' trailers are 1850-2250 all day long.

New tires and wheels are $500 a set of four. Most these jokers want $1500 and up, needing, fenders, tires, decking, lights, wiring, etc etc...

What the heck are they smoking?

I know what Iv'e put into my used trailer, I'd of had it paid off by now if I had bought new.

And I'd have bought aluminum.

Couldn’t agree more. We sold the car trailer up here recently for $1600, and it had one bent axle and needed four tires! The market for them is crazy right now.

 ROTFLMAO ROTFLMAO ROTFLMAO
I had the same thought when I was looking for a trailer. Everyone wants to get their money back for what they paid. Needless to say I got new, maybe I will try to sell it for the same price after I ran over the fender last year.

A good open trailer can easily cost 2 or 3 times what you're talking about new. Less than $2000 is a steal if you ask me.

You are talking a custom trailer not a standard trailer. I can get a Featherlite for what a PJ buggy hauler costs. So unless someone needs the extra width (I know you did), it's really a waste of money.

Here's an example and there are tons more for under $2500 all day long:

Open trailers blow (wasted space and limited use) read the cheapest economy trailer specs above. It will walk all over any open trailer and it's under $2100

Add new tires to a 1500 junk used trailer and you are over it's new cost.

Cheap trailers SUCK.  Thin frames, crap brakes, terrible wiring (WTF uses wire nuts on a NEW trailer?!).  Been there, done that.  That one ended up with a bent frame.

Steel prices are going up.  The manufacturers are already passing along increases.

Think of the prices on new trucks.  How many F150s are $60K or more?
