Wow!  I just can't wait until we all have a universal electric pod we can just drop in any vehicle.  Dunno?

I suppose it was bound to happen at some point, but driving into work today heard a nice little waterfall coming into my passenger floorboard.  If it ever stops raining I'll have to clean the cowl out now.

Its a good time to remove the cowl and take a good look around in there.  Lube the wiper joints while you're in there and look at the opening to the HVAC box.  Be careful removing it because its easy to scratch the paint (masking tape is a good protector).

Drove/“boated” to work in the CJ this morning. Wife kidded me about taking the JKU yesterday. So I got soaked this morning as a result. The bikini top and full soft doors leave quite a gap at the top and completely open at the back. Fun times.

The only thing about a Yj that's reliable is its mechanic.

The other day, I saw thunderstorms in the forecast. Yesterday it was downgraded. I like that trend. It needs to keep lessening.

Picked up a set of Putco LED taillights and got them installed tonight between rain storms.

Fiddled with my choke. It has not done well with idling at start. Once it warms up, it has been fine. I think the choke was too far open at cold and saw that it was sticking. So hopefully it will be better now. We will see

Also I installed a towing wiring harness to the tow pig. With 4 pin and 7 pin connections. I have not connected the brake controller wires yet, but the lights should all be good at this point. The other wires will take more time than I had this morning.

Stuck my Cape Hatteras permit to the windshield.  Why is that thing so big?  Going down this weekend (extended) instead of next to avoid the crush.  Hopefully the weather improves.  We've had our reservations in Buxton since February.

Re-installed my gas tank after putting a new gasket in the sender unit.  Other than snapping the bolt on the strap - no issues.

But you had the hard top on still. How did it get so wet?  Leaks?

Oh and yesterday, on the way home from the S&S, I lost brake pedal. Pulled over and noticed that the clip holding the cover on the mc had popped enough to let the little come off and lose a lot of fluid. Thankfully the cap was laying in the manifold (and I keep a bottle of brake fluid in the Jeep). So was able to refill it and get home. Need to bleed them now. Sigh
