Selling my XJ as a parts jeep, it has some type of electrical issue (ground?) where sometimes it wont start and the dash and lights wont turn on…then out of nowhere it will fire right up as if its brand new. Also left me stranded 75 miles from home in Oilville VA (west of Richmond) with a P0305 code (cylinder 5 misfire) and hard knocking, had to trailer it home a couple days later. The combination of these two issues have forced me to get a more reliable commuter vehicle and this one needs to be sold to help pay for the new car.

Id like to sell it whole, needs to be trailered, can help with delivery if absolutely required, located in Rixeyville VA.

Not sure what to ask for it, what do you think it's worth? Any reasonable offers?

Vitals

Faded black on black 2001 Jeep Cherokee Limited Auto 2WD 18X,XXX miles - Dead inspection

The Good

Great commuter being its 2WD, averaged 20.4 mpg since getting it at 117k miles

Leather interior

Newish headliner (black) so its not sagging

Has the Bosch 4 hole EV6 Injector upgrade

Two Pairs (4 total) Rough Country 1092 wheel adapters (5 on 4.5 to 5 on 5) to run JK wheels

Stock steel wheels and tires from a 2017 JK, full size spare (spare and 1 tire have a plug, both hold air fine)

Rampage 5089927 Halogen headlight conversion kit for H4 bulbs

Putco 230004HW headlight wiring harness upgrade

1” lift HD rear springs – Crown 4886186AA

1” lift Variable rate front springs – Moog CC782

Monroe shocks – 37083 & 37027

CURT 13160 Class 3 trailer hitch with wiring Harness

Tires/wheels, springs, shocks, wheel adapters, and headlight conversion was installed at 150k miles. Hitch, injectors, and headliner was around 120-125k miles.

The Bad

Dead Inspection

Its bad offroad seeing that its 2WD

Aforementioned electrical issue and cyl 5 misfire

Body has seen better days, chipping paint, dents, keyed side, hoods dented, front license plate brackets broke etc

The led screen on the stereo cuts out 95% of the time, stereo works fine, just cant see the time or station etc

windows only work with the driver controls, passengers cannot operate their own windows

missing 1 headlight bezel, grill is loose... someone backed into me in a parking lot

Can get interior pictures if anyone wants, just need to get the rest of my stuff out.

I put it up on CL for $1000 after looking at what was currently available ($500-$1500)...seemed high to me but I've surprisingly already gotten a couple emails. I'm flexible with novajeepers so tell them to shoot me an offer...it doesn't do me any good sitting in the yard.

I'd possibly be interested in the wheel adapters.

How much for the grill and drivers headlight trim? Also I need a drivers left side front bumper end cap. If not willing to part the front bumper,, how much for the whole thing?

Dang, I threw my bumper end caps away. Should've known!

Oh and OP, I will take the vacuum line that goes from the T fitting out to the reservoir behind the bumper, if you still have it.

There's a $550 offer for the whole thing so I have to hold off on selling parts for now, the guy is trying figure out if he can trailer it or if we'll need to work out delivery. still taking offers for the whole thing...its not sold until its sold...cash talks

IF the deal falls through...
-cant get rid of tires/wheels or adapters without a set to put back on to keep it mobile (I have 1 spare donut I can use to keep it mobile, need 3 more)
-grill mounting brackets are damaged but if you still want it along with the headlight bezel trim, bumper cap or entire bumper, we can work something out probably for beer money
-vacuum line, yours if you want it
-had a PM about the glovebox, I will sell it unless someone wants the entire dash...make an offer when the time comes
