I was looking at the Area and noticed Sweet Springs and Nimrod Road being nearby. Are these both forest service roads and something typically ran in conjunction with Potts Mtn trail?

If you are looking at google maps it is not correct. Where it is labeled Potts Mtn Jeep trail Mid-Trail Crossover is the end of the trail (unless something has changed since last year). You would head back towards 617 via Sweet Springs Turnpike and 176 (these are just gravel roads) to go back to the campground afterwards. I am not sure where Nimrod Road is but there is another trail on the ridge east of Potts (FS100, 180, 179) that I have done before. I would compare it to Peter's mill but with spectacular views of the surrounding areas during the day and of the stars on a clear night.

It's only a week out......who's backing out?

We had a guy backout of a flagpole ride because he said he forgot he had an interior design show to go to......come up with a better excuse than that, lol

My personal favorite is "my Jeep grew death wobble over night and I can't make it to the trail".  ROTFLMAO

My cousin and I are camping.  Heading out of Lorton at maybe 1pm (or whenever he gets off work and gets to my house).

I'm camping. Planning to leave around 12 noon, west 66, south 81 and west 64. I'm towing and with the truck camper so hopefully I can find one of the few drive-through sites.

If we don't convoy it, save me space. Probably pulling camper.
