Use to  carry these as give aways on the trail.  Break a shaft and you have pull it.  Without an outer to hold together the unit bearing it seperates and the wheel falls off.  Rather than disassemble the u jount to get the outer off the broken shaft you just toss this in keep the group moving.

I can bring it to the meeting.  Outer is on the right in the picture.
