Hey Jeepers...

I apologize if I am repeating an old topic here...I tried searching and scrolling and couldn't find this.

I have a 2010 JK a with the 18" stock Sahara wheels. I bought it new and have never modded it until now (146,000 miles).  Just swapped the soft top for a hard top and now I want to get bigger tires but have to keep the stock wheels for now due to budget. I've been searching online everywhere and have found plenty of people saying it will work but many mention using spacers or the pics they post are horrible and I can't really see what it looks like.

Do any of you have 33" tires on stock wheels with no spacers? If you do, can you post pics? I want to see if it makes enough of a difference in the appearance for me to switch. I'm not completely opposed to installing spacers, but the less $ I spend right now the better.

Thanks!

Regarding your question on the look of a 33in tire, I think they look real good on a 2-door JK...and seem noticeably larger than the stock 32in.  I got new wheels along with the 33in tires with mine, but even on the stock 18in wheels, you should notice the difference visually and be happy with them.

I know you can run 285/65/18 without any issues.
