Past member - new (to me) JK. Managed to stay away for most of a year so prolly time to renew the membership. Ran across this 09’ 2 door and couldn’t resist. The hybrid top is definitely a bonus. Had the 32” BFGs in my garage so threw those on pretty quick. Build plans include... I have no idea. Going to just gather parts as they crop up and go with the flow. Hoping to use this one to start teaching my 16 y/o boy how to wrench some.

My wife has started to feed mine. First the JKU for the kids, then her 2a. Now she is talking about selling the F250 and getting a Grand Wagoneer.

Nice! We had an old style woody wagon when my daughter was born. My wife still talks about that as her favorite vehicle ever. I don't think I would have to argue too hard to add one of those to the stable if one ever turned up at a decent price. They seem, unfortunately, to have gained popularity with the masses and prices for one that is not rusted out became ridiculous. Check out the link below. Ive seen a few in Cali that seem to specialize in them. Makes me pretty sure ill never be able to find a decent one that I could afford. https://wagonmaster.com and http://www.grandwagoneer.com

I have been to the wagonmasters site. I think that has “helped” prices climb. Like the big auto auctions. People see those prices and think they are normal and “their” rust bucket is worth that much.

I was looking a few years ago and the decent ones were hovering in the 5-7k range. Not anymore.
