I'm contemplating selling the Jeep because I really just don't have time for it anymore and hardly even drive it (roughly <300 miles/year for the last four and a half years). I have owned this TJ since July 2008 and have the title with no liens on it. There are currently 138,xxx miles on it, and when I got it in 2008 it had 102,500 miles as I drove it off of Manassas Jeep's lot. The Jeep was stock when I got it, and all modifications were added by me with the intention of putting quality parts on the rig to crawl rocks at Rausch Creek, the Cove, Crozet, etc. Below is a list of mods as well as any known issues. I have receipts for a large majority of any parts put on the Jeep or work done to it, with the exception of preventative maintenance items. The Jeep has a current inspection which expires in July 2019. The Jeep is located in Richmond, VA if you would like to see/drive it. I can deliver it to NOVA for free for the asking price.
This rig is currently setup for you to have fun on black trails, and reds for those who want a challenge. I would not classify this as a DD, although if you wanted to you could by performing some maintenance for items noted below (steering, brakes). The Jeep will be sold as-is.

Price: $10,000

Engine:
-4.0 I6
-Factory AC compressor pully is frozen, so a non-AC serpentine belt is installed to bypass this pully (belt route is exact match)

Transmission:
-32rh 3 speed automatic. Replaced by C&P Offroad in November 2012 with new transmission.
-Deep pan
-B&M transmission cooler
-Autometer temperature gauge (doesn’t currently function, likely that the power wire needs replaced or came off of the connection)

Transfer case:
-NP231 – replaced November 2012 with new unit
-SYE
-CV/Double cardan driveshaft on rear
-Savvy Offroad cable shifter – shifts very smooth compared to stock mechanical linkage

Axles:
-HP D30 front axle, 4.56 gears, Aussie locker, RCV axle shafts, outer axle seals, Riddler diff cover
-Ford 8.8 rear axle, 4.56 gears, ARB air locker, UCF diff cover

Suspension/Steering:
-Metalcloak Duroflex arms (all eight)
-Currie JJ front housing kit (puts a JJ on the axle end of both front UCAs)
-Rancho 9000xl adjustable shocks
-Currie antirock front adjustable sway bar
-Metalcloak front adjustable track bar
-Rough country rear adjustable track bar
-Rough country 4” lift springs
-Currie steering

Wheels/Tires:
-35x12.5x15” BFG Mud Terrain KM2s – five tires – 50%+ tread
-15x8” Raceline Monster beadlocks – five wheels

Body:
-GroundPounderFab front stinger bumper
-Genright rear bumper/crossmember
-GroundPounderFab rear bumper frame tie-ins
-TnT phantom front flat tube fenders
-Savvy Offroad aluminum rear corners
-Savvy Offroad aluminum/chromoly steel rock sliders
-UCF aluminum engine skid
-UCF aluminum ultra high clearance tummy tuck/tcase skid plate
-Savvy Offroad aluminum gas tank skid
-Rokmen steering box skid
-1.25” body lift
-1” motor mount lift
-Monstalined tub
-Rampage frameless soft top (door surrounds + header bar) – rear window zippers are broken so doesn’t seal fully
-Full red (body matched) hard doors

Other miscellaneous items:
-ARB mini compressor for the rear locker mounted in engine bay
-DieHard gold series battery

Recent maintenance items:
-Transmission, transfer case, oil pump, flex plate, rear driveshaft were replaced in November/December 2013 with new parts. Have receipts from C&P offroad
-Power steering pump replaced approx. 2014
-Water pump replaced in approx.. 2014

Known issues:
-Steering has some play in it. Never looked into it too much – could be TREs, but also the tie-rod is slightly bent from a trip to Rausch.
-Brakes are soft, likely need to be bled, possibly new front pads.
-One tire has a slow leak (few PSI a week – it’s not going flat on you as you drive it)
-There is some surface rust on this thing – mainly bumpers, beadlock rings, frame/undercarriage. Not aware of any systemic rust issues.

The winch does not come with the Jeep. I am not parting anything out, so don't bother asking at this time - only willing to sell as a complete vehicle right now. Any questions about the Jeep please ask, as I'm sure there are some details I'm forgetting.

Pictures: Some of these pictures are older and show items no longer on the Jeep (tire carrier, etc.) or prior to items being installed (corners, fenders). If you want some current pictures in the driveway let me know.

Lol yeah it doesn’t cost me anything to keep it really, but I just don’t use it at all - even driving it around town is rare, so at this point I can see myself letting it go. Tough decision but it might be time.

That will always be my favorite picture of this Jeep. I miss Crozet also. Great trails, close proximity, and friendly owner/club.
