Well, figured I'd jump in and show my rig now that there is process.

Before I get into the details, I've had my two door for almost a year now... and as a senior in college I battled getting all the funds to finally throw it at my Jeep, since its been a dream to own one ever since I was a little girl.

I wheeled my stock Jeep here and there...here's a picture of my 2017 Jeep stock:

Full list of what I had added to it:
3.5" Metal Cloak Rocksport Edition
Method 301 17" Black Wheels
35x12.50 R17 Nitto Trail Grapplers
Superchips Flashcal F5
Teraflex Alpha Tire Carrier & Hingegate System

I'm running on 35s and 3.21 gears so I'm basically a turtle... its bearable until I lose my damn mind  Laughing I keep getting people flipping me off on the road because they think I'm purposely going slow  Neutral I plan on re-gearing in the future, but I'm a broke college gal so right now that's not an option  Laughing

What my jeep looks like now:

Hope to add bumpers in the future, I took off my stock side steps myself they were so annoying, now I have to jump into the Jeep... I'll add rock sliders eventually.

I love your Jeep! I know the too broke to mod blues very well. It helps the budget if you can do the work yourself and it sounds like you have a head start with removing the side steps already!

Since you're in school and may not have the space and tools, I'm sure there are club members willing to lend a garage and tools. You're welcome to mine, though it comes with a 4 year old that wants to "help." Lol

It sounds like you'll be in Rausch this weekend. I'll see your Jeep then!

Have a garage and tools as well. You are welcome to wrench here anytime.

Check to forum and other jeep groups, you would be amazed at the parts being sold out there.

Cheers Rob

I would have loved to install the lift myself but I donít have a garage nor the tools... but I love to learn about everything! I look to YouTube videos to learn here and there, so installing a new grill and removing the side steps was easy. Will see you at Rausch Creek for sure!

Thank you for the link Rob! The gears + the carrier seems like a reasonable price offered, I'm thinking down the line after paying for my front drive shaft I'll start saving funds for it altogether. Slow process but well worth it  Cool I'll give the puppy eyes face to my folks and see if they budge  Laughing Saving the link!

I'm pretty sure it is possible to replace the boot... but I lowkey feel that just getting a new driveshaft altogether might be less of a worry for me.
If the date cuts close and I don't obtain the Adams before the late Nov/Dec run, I'll get a boot replacement instead.
