Took the fuel sending unit out of the 3a to trouble shoot it. And saw that the float was already replaced at one point not too long ago.

Note to self: never buy 1/8" skids - get 3/16".
Note to Frank, I had a Rusty's 3/16th of the same basic design as the Warn.... I still bent the hell out of it until I reinforced with angle iron like you just did with yours Smile

Good to know.  I guess we REALLY play hard sometimes!  I'm still debating if I should do the passenger side.  It's already really close to the exhaust and clamp at the cat.  Maybe I can lay it so it lays like "^" and weld it in - hmm?  Maybe I'm not done yet.... maybe there's no debate now that I'm typing it.
If I wasn't so lazy today I would go take a pic of my skid. 2 3/16 skids bolted together.  Bottom piece is an old skid row oil pan skid from a TJ with the angle iron running down down the side. It all bends on the right rocks.

With the help of some friends (Rob and Garner) I was able to put some new fenders on! And got a mall crawl photo to prove it!

Installed the front Rock Hard cage (rear is en route) and clipped my 3D printed g-screen mount into place.

Looking great guys. Makes me feel lame. I drove the Scrambler to get dog treats and light bulbs.

And I washed the JKU and took a bunch of pics for selling. Wow, my 21 year old daughter is a slob.

It doesnít get better. My 24 y/o daughter dropped her car off with me today so that I could take it in for a recall. I found the Check engine light on, junk everywhere inside, and the stench... I just donít get it.

My daughter just left lots of trash in it. Last time she visited, I had to clear the tire pressure warning by putting air in the tires. Imagine that!  But being that she works at Starbucks this semester, there was a bit of stickiness around the cupholders that had to be cleaned up. Yuck.

Ha! I can beat that! My daughter dropped her car with me over Xmas because she had let the inspection sticker expire. While I had it... she mentioned that the dash light wasnít working and she had been turning the interior light on in the car at night so that she could see the speedometer. I fixed it by twisting the dimmer knob. She did not realize that there was such a thing.

Yeah. You got me. That made me laugh. My daughter did ask me how to put it in 4wd. But the dimmer has that beat.

I like that steering setup!  Are you going to have it finished for Summer wheeling?  I'm looking forward to syncing up for a ride sometime soon!
