I'm tired of waiting in line to air up, so I'm planning to install a Smittybilt CO2 tank I picked up from a Member last year.  Has anyone installed one of these with the Smittybilt roll bar mount?

I had the 10lb Powertank roll bar mount on my LJ. I liked it, and the only part that rattled was the pad lock.

The only thing about a Yj that's reliable is its mechanic.

Joey to Mike- That's more like it! Never done.....just outta money at the moment.

I have the powertank with rollbar mount as well. Not sure if the tanks are the same size. But the powertank mount works really well. I donít hear any rattling. At least not over any of the other rattles. 😜

That's comforting!    Laughing

Seriously though. Super quiet. And has a rubber edge that the tank rests against to keep it quiet.

I received the Smittybilt tank bracket yesterday.  I"ll likely try to install it this weekend, but need to find a place near me in the Warrenton area to fill the tank!

If you donít find a place close enough, Fireline in Leesburg is where I go. It is near the airport.
