Finally gotten around to putting this together. In Aug 2018 my neighbor was moving to Thailand and was looking to donate his 2000 SE TJ. Long story short, he donated it to me. Here is how she started:

First thing I did was find some new wheels to replace the rusted steel wheels:

The tires where crap, but the wheels were fine.

I performed all the usual maintenance items and got her to pass inspection in Oct. Now for the upgrades. I started with a 2Ē puck lift that quickly got replaced with 3Ē BDS springs and Rancho 5000x shocks and RC adjustable front track bar and rear relocation bracket. She started coming together:

As you can see, I also dropped the hard top. Still had those tired 31s, so it was time for some big boy shoes:

Now is starting to look like a Jeep. This was Jan of this year.

I then found some a used set of fully adjustable JKS control arms from a forum member, thanks Chad! Took her wheeling at Rausch in March to put it through the paces to see what else I wanted to upgrade:

At this point Iím still on the stock D30/D35 fully open 4.10 axles and slip yoke driveshaft, but no vibes since I had previously installed a brown dog MML and JKS BL.

I decided that I wanted to run a lunchbox locker in the front so I picked up a Spartan locker and got that installed:

I then decided that I wanted lose the slip yoke. I found an SYE on CL that was from 2006, but never installed. I then found a used transfer case and proceeded to install it on the bench. I then added an Adams driveshaft and Barnes4WD bolt on skid plate. I also added a Novak cable shifter to finish it off:

Like many, I constantly look at CL to see if any gems can be had. I came across such a gem in York, PA. A guy was selling a D44 with ARB locker and 33 spline cromo shafts, HP stretched D30 with Aussie locker and another standard empty HP D30 housing for a great price. I jumped on it and had Chris at Powerhouse Suspension swap the gears from the stretched housing to the standard housing. I installed the axles:

I then took this opportunity to get on-board air:

Jeep Wave Awesome man. Teach them young and enjoy! They grow up fast. My kids have been wheeling since they were about 2 yrs old. The oldest has her own TJ now and my son and I are starting to build him a 7.

Sweet find on the axles for your TJ.  Cheers

That's great to hear.  Now I have to get the wife to come around  Mr. Green  She was convinced they would hate it, felt good to share stuff with them.

The axles were a really sweet find.  I don't think I mentioned it, but it also has 4.88 gears.  It's the gift that keeps on giving.
