Was on a test drive yesterday and saw a unlimited wrangler hardtop with a soft top front section folded back.  Maybe I saw it wrong but how did they accomplish that?

Have one on my wife's JL, and she had one on her JK, until it became mine and I opted for a full soft top.  Best hard top mod ever (again, short of a soft top).

Do you want to only rarely have the open front?  Once a month or less? Do you not want the whole jeep open to the elements and onlookers? Do you have a space to store something decently large?
Hardtop

Do you want to open the front weekly on your drive home? DO you want to cruise with one passenger in the sun but still have a fast cover up for hot sun or adverse conditions?
The besttop front soft with the rear hardtop

Do you want to open the whole jeep more than once a month? Park in a decent area most days? Not have a lot of room for lots of storage of large items?
softtop.

The jks have a sunrider option that does this effect on the soft top too.

The only thing about a Yj that's reliable is its mechanic.

Joey to Mike- That's more like it! Never done.....just outta money at the moment.

When this first come out I thought it was a April Fools Day JoKe. The hard top already has T-tops, so I don't see a need.

I'd rather have a real soft top.

Those freedom panels are bulky and take up room in the back. And can get banged up. So if you want to flip the front open often, that product makes sense. I did not have one with my JKU, rather, I had the full hard top and then got a full soft top and only used it for a few months. My daughter drove it and was worried about the soft top on her college campus. And never took it down anyway. She was not a Jeeper. Went and bought a Subaru Outback for post graduation. 🙄
