Picked it up from the body shop. Driver's door seals better but dent is still there. Going rock rail/rocker panel hunting. Would like to avoid cutting and riveting custom-sized diamond plate if I can...

Adam,

I've installed two of these for friends and they're actually a fantastic buy for the money.  There is another version with a step built in, but I didn't have time to look for it.  FYI, when installing these I also bought a can of flex seal rubber and sprayed the inside parts that contacted the rocker.

Washed my Jeep for... two hours. By the end of it... I was going to pass out under the heat Shocked
Mud was stuck to the the undercarriage and in small spaces so I took my time... plus I'm attending the Ocean City, NJ Jeep Invasion Event on Saturday so have to be "squeaky" clean  Duh

Yeah, may be going with these. For $129??

And I like the flex seal idea, was thinking undercarriage coating of some sort but that may work better. Iím considering scuffing up and bedlining the outer portion as well. The more I look at these the better i feel about them in spite of the condition of the rocker.

Traveling for work essentially through the end of the month but these will be on my November to-do list.

Decided to not sell and throw money at it. Started with tires.

Still have loud noises when driving, so next up are wheel bearings.

Good move, unless you were rejoining the LJ brigade. Good choice on tires too, I have those on the LJ and have run them on the Tacoma, very pleased with them.

My speedometer started going nuts, sitting at 0 for ages and all of a sudden bouncing up and down, then sitting at 0 again. Thankfully was able to climb under and re-seat the speedo gear, and that seems to have fixed it.

Would've been salty if my new-to-me cluster was having issues!

Finally got the GP Factor License Plate Relocation Kit I ordered some 3 months ago off the kitchen table and on the Jeep.  Jury-rigged the ARB third brake LED light I already had to go with the plate light that came with it so Iím all set.

Finally checked my DS angles after having some frame work done following an accident.  A SafeTCap was added for the driver's rear control arm mount.  DS was at 19 and axle was 22.5.  Tweaked them to be pretty close at about 21 degrees and most of the vibes disappeared.  Took it up to 75 this morning going to work and it feels fine.

Spent a week in Carova. Went to OBX jeep jam. Lastly, helped a buddy pull his boat for the season.
