I'm tentative. I'm off that day and should be able to come out. Just need to check a few things.

Rob,

I am in for Sunday - I just removed, cleaned, repacked, and reinstalled with new seal both of the front wheel bearings on the CJ. Ready to go!

So it looks as if the weather is getting colder starting tomorrow. Dress accordingly please.

On our last  trip to the gravel forest trails we encountered two  obstacles blocking the trails  large fallen trees.  So good teachable moments were  had and some excellent team work to get thru the challenges presented.  This  enforced the  idea of come prepared.  even the quietest  easy ride can present  some challenges.  With the right gear  they are not a big deal. without it can be a long day.

Since this is a group ride  please feel free to be part of the team. Jump in  lend a hand and have fun... yes FUN.  Last weekend we not only had teachable moments  btu helped the USFS keep the trails open.  I am not asking  anyone to go buy  recovery gear, I am asking that you  pack what you have  on the run. Even if it is just a tow strap and a shackle, that might be the one bit we need to  complete the challenge presented to us.

It will be cool/cold. When we stopped for lunch last weekend we had a bit of a hot  pot luck. I am bringing my cooking gear for hot  coffee/chocolate and hot food (To be determined) I will bring some to share.  If you are so inclined please feel free to do the same.  Bring a camp chair if you like for lunch. "if you pack it in pack it out", if you are a smoker, mind you butts even withthe amount of rain  the ground is still very dry  and with all the foliage  laying around  fires can start easily.

Trail system there is  rated "Easy" bone stock Jeeps of all kinds can travel these trails with little effort.  The trails are long so  where we go will be determined by the speed of the group.  To give an idea the  trail loops are as little as  10 miles to as long as 70+

There are no facilities in the forest.  So please follow the rule  "...boys to the left and girls to the right..."  how did this come about? because girls are always right  ROTFLMAO

Trees are for the most part without color  the politically correct term is  past peak Sad....  but the views will still be grand. Wink

Garner I am bringing an extra gallon just for you sir.

See everyone on Sunday.

It's a CJ thing you wouldn't understand R3 Razz  I need a 30 gal fuel cell for my CJ-7. My CJ-8 has a 34 gal if I could ever get it built.  Sad
